Burial will be in Hillview Cemetery. Mr. Bayne died Sunday, August 17, 1986 at his residence. A native of DeKalb County, Mr. Bayne lived most of his life in Wilson county and was affiliated with the Watertown Church of Christ. He was retired from the Highway Department with the State of Tennessee. Survivors include his wife, Etta Frances Vanatta Bayne; two sons, R. D. Bayne of Mt. Juliet and Van Eddie Bayne of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Crystal N. Bayne of Mt. Juliet and Rodger Derek (R. D.) Bayne of Lebanon; three sisters, Mattie Bly, Jane Walden and Lucy Slager, all of Watertown; two brothers, Jim Bayne and Tom Bayne, both of Watertown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
