Born June 23, 1938, he was a longtime resident of Townsend. He is survived by wife, Bonnie Proctor; son, Vernon Proctor; and daughters, Janet and Susie Farmer; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Macedonia Cemetery in Townsend for interment.
