Read More	Sue McCraw Stuard (January 25, 1924 - January 26, 2009) Sue Stuard Gaffney, SC - - Sue McCraw Stuard, 85, of 223 Tiffany Park, Apt. 103, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 26, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Cherokee County, she was the wife of John Stuard and the daughter of the late Floyd F. McCraw and Vivian M. McCraw. She was the former owner and operator of Stuard's Handy Dandy and a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church where she kept the nursery for over forty years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, John Philip Stuard and wife, Lynn of Gaffney; one daughter, Marcia Stuard Brown and husband, Bill of Inman; four grandchildren, Joe Stuard, Kevin Stuard, Ashley Brown and Angela Brown; three great grandchildren; one brother, Wallace McCraw of Gaffney; six sisters, Delia Champion, Rozell Turner and Edith Gardner and husband, Wayne, all of Gaffney, Elaine Curtis and husband, Gene of Mooresboro, NC, Norma Harris and husband, Albert of Hampton, GA and Kathryn Champion and husband, Buddy of Ocean Isle, NC; a sister-in-law, Emma Lee McCraw of Gaffney. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Ann Stuard and a brother, Almarine McCraw. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at East Gaffney Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Jackson and Rev. Joe Geddes officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Gaffney Baptist Church Building Fund, 2308 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, SC 29340 or to Parson's Pantry, P.O. Box 777, Gaffney, SC 29342 The family will be at the home of Mack and Pat Stuard, 115 W. Ninth Street, Gaffney, SC 29340.
