Read More	Newspaper – Obituary Willis Kruse ASTORIA – Willis A. Kruse, 69, Astoria, died Sunday, Aug. 11, in his home in Astoria of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Kruse was born May 8, 1922, on a farm in Brookings County. He grew up on the farm and attended rural elementary school in Brookings County. He married Dona Wilkinson May 8, 1942, in Tyler, Minn. They farmed in the White and Astoria areas until 1963 when he began employment with Deuel County Farmer's Union. He moved to Astoria in Deuel County Farmer's Union. He was a member of Astoria Senior Citizens and First Baptist Church, White. Survivors include his wife; two sons: David, Watertown; and Dennis, Ivanhoe, Texas; two daughters: Mrs. William (Cheryl) Mitchell, Estelline; and Mrs. Wayne (Ellen) Spindle, Ravenna, Texas; 12 grandchildren; two brothers: Peter, George, Iowa; and George, Bigelow, Minn.; and three sisters: Mrs. Walter (Grace) Gehring, Columbus, Neb.; Mrs. Helen Morris, White; and Mrs. Eldon (Irene) Odegaard, Rapid City, Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday if First Baptist Church, White, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, White. Eng Funeral Home of Clear Lake and Toronto, is in charge of arrangements.
