Description	:	Bert Parker passed away at his home east of Albion, Friday, December 18th, after several months of illness. He spent some time at a hospital in Omaha but obtained only temporary relief. Willis Bert Parker was born at Wabloo, Missouri, January 16th, 1883 and departed this life, December 18th, 1931 at the age of 48 years, 11 months and two days. After growing to manhood in St. Claire county, Missouri, he went to Atchison county in the same state. He was married to Laura Mae Margerum September 26, 1906. Willis Bert Parker was born at Wabloo, Missouri, January 16th, 1883 and departed this life, December 18th, 1931 at the age of 48 years, 11 months and two days. After growing to manhood in St. Claire county, Missouri, he went to Atchison county in the same state. He was married to Laura Mae Margerum September 26, 1906. To this union three children were born, Pearl and Opal who are at home and one son, who died in infancy. Mr. Parker with his family moved to Boone County, Nebraska, in March 1916 to the farm east of Albion where he resided at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, two daughters, Pearl and Opal, two brothers and two sisters, William Parker, Mrs. Della Doll, Mrs. Maude Cathey of Urich, Missouri and Perry Parker of Galt, California. Besides these he left other relatives and a host of friends. He was a patient sufferer during his nine months of illness. A loving husband and father, and a kind neighbor, he will be greatly missed in the family circle and in the community. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Joseph Stopford and interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
