Coe were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from the First M.E. church, conducted by the Rev. A.L. Golden. Death was caused by neuritis and other complications. Coe was born in Boone county, Iowa, March 22, 1873, died July 28, 1913, aged 40 years, 3 months and 6 days. He moved to Webster county with his parents in the spring of 1883. After a few years he decided to take up a homestead in North Dakota. By his earnest labor he acquired a fine Dakota farm. On December 18, 1901, he was united in marriage to Miss Jessie Santman, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa. To them were born one child, Helen Elizabeth, now eight years old. He leaves besides his wife and child, his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Coe, of Boone, three brothers and three sisters, George, Henry and Harry of Crocus, North Dakota; Mrs. G.C. Buechler and Mrs. C.S. Buechler of Boone and Mrs. G.E. Anderson of Morristown, South Dakota, all being present at the funeral except Mrs. Anderson, whose illness prevented her coming.
