Description	:	The funeral for Willis Stoll, 73, of Leeds was held Saturday at the Leeds Lutheran Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. He died April 30, 2002 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby. Pastor Richard Budd officiated. Music was provided by organist Barbara Lee, soloist Nancy Silliman and a quartet composed of Mitzi and Staci Hager, Connie Brown and Deb Schmaltz. Casket bearers were Erling Axness, Roger Gronos, Jodey Jenssen, Don Lima, Kim Lunde, Bob Silliman, Boyd Stevenson and Dale Streyle. The Nelson Funeral Home of Leeds was in charge of arrangements. Willis Stoll was born March 24, 1929 near Wolford to William and Rose Graber Stoll. He was raised there and attended the Wolford School, graduating in 1948. He worked at the Wolford Grain Elevator until 1955. He moved to Hansboro and worked at the elevator there until moving to Leeds in 1971, where he was employed at the GTA Elevator until 1975 when it became a part of the Harlow Co-op Elevator. He then worked in Harlow until retiring in 1994. He married Emily Cahill June 28, 1959 in Hansboro. He was a member of the Leeds Lutheran Church and a former member of the Leeds Fire Dept. and the Leeds Lions Club. He had also been a member of the Devils Lake Elks Lodge and the Rugby Eagles Aerie. He served as mayor of Hansboro. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, yard work and woodworking. Survivors include his wife of Leeds; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tammy and Jim Brossart of Rugby and Terri Stoll of Leeds; a son, Ross Stoll of Leeds; four grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Frances Stoll of Pierson, Fla.; and a sister, Dovie Follman of Leeds. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Delphia Ostenson. Benson County Farmers Press
