Description	:	LINCOLN — Wilma Nuss, 91, of Lincoln, formerly of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at the High Plains Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Lincoln. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. The Rev. Paul Nauman will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Wilma Alice Nuss, the daughter of Wilbur A. and Myrtle (Sailor) Wolfe, was born in Hamilton County, Neb., on July 31, 1925, and passed away in Lincoln on Nov. 23, 2016, at the age of 91. The family lived in Stockham, Neb. Wilma graduated from Stockham High School in 1943. Wilma was united in marriage to Curtis M. Nuss in 1944. They lived on a farm in Clay County and Wilma moved to Aurora in 1969. Wilma worked at Denny’s Electric, Ellis Pharmacy and the Hamilton Manor for about 20 years, retiring in 1993. Curtis passed away in March 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Archie “Bud” Wolfe and Vernon Wolfe; three sisters, Nina Wolfe, Esther Wolfe and Dorothy Wach; a son-in-law, Bret Fox; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Nuss; a grandson, Joseph Nuss; and a stepgrandson, Justin Ruhl. Those left to cherish her memory are her five children, Larry (Judy) Nuss of Sutton, Ray Nuss of Lincoln, Jerry (Linda) Nuss of Grand Island, Sandy Fox of Raymond and Randy (Sally) Nuss of Stella; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other family members.
