Description	:	Wilma Beatrice Aid, age 80, formerly of Clarinda, Ia, died Thursday, April 7, 1977 at Fallon, Nevada of a lingering illness. Mrs Aid was born January 6, 1897 at College Springs, the daughter of Joe and Laura Norman. She was united in marriage to Stillman Roy Aid February 28, 1915 at New Market. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. For several years she and her husband farmed at New Market and then was employed at the State Mental Institute at Clarinda until she retired in 1959. Mrs Aid was born January 6, 1897 at College Springs, the daughter of Joe and Laura Norman. She was united in marriage to Stillman Roy Aid February 28, 1915 at New Market. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. For several years she and her husband farmed at New Market and then was employed at the State Mental Institute at Clarinda until she retired in 1959. Mr Aid preceded her in death November 15, 1960. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur Norman and Alvin Eldred and one daughter Nellie Marjorie. Funeral services were conducted from the Walker Funeral Home at 1:30 pm Tuesday, April 12. The service was conducted by Rev Robert P. Nelson of the First Baptist Church in Clarinda. The soloist was Joan Archer, sons were Mansions Over the Hilltop and How Great Thou Art. Organist was Mrs Grace Perry. Pall bearers were Elmer Britt, Homer Karg, Wilbur Lininger, Kyle Hughes, Bill Lininger, Lyle Coe. Burial was in Old Memory Cemetery, New Market, Iowa. Survivors are one son, Roy Ivan Aid of Sunset, Utah and one daughter, Aletha Leara Lininger of Hawthorne, Nevada, six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs Marie Vaill, Coin, Ia, Mrs Lizzie Fink of Burlington Junction, Mo., Violet Fanning of Lodi, Calif, and Mrs Cleola Jones, Maryville, Mo., and two brothers, William Norman, Onawa, Ia. and Leslie Norman, Leavenworth, Kans.
