Description	:	Wilma was born the only daughter of Clyde and Julia (Landis) Bolsinger. (See parent's links below for linage and sibling, Cecil C. Bolsinger.) Wilma was active in drama and music while attending Coe College, graduating in 1937. She also took classes in business at the University of Iowa. She taught high school in Arlington and Belle Plaine before teaching in the Anamosa schools. While teaching English and Latin at Anamosa High she met James T. Remley. Wilma was active in drama and music while attending Coe College, graduating in 1937. She also took classes in business at the University of Iowa. She taught high school in Arlington and Belle Plaine before teaching in the Anamosa schools. While teaching English and Latin at Anamosa High she met James T. Remley. The couple was united in marriage on Oct. 24, 1941. After World War II, they returned to Anamosa, raised a family of three children; two sons and a daughter. They were active in community and church. Wilma later worked in the junior high library. She was preceded in death by both her husband, James, who died Oct. 21, 1967 and her parents. Wilma was involved in many professional and community organizations through the years: Business and Professional Women, Cub Scout den mother, Camp Fire Blue Bird leader, County Christmas Seals, member of the Anamosa PEO and delagate to state and international PEO conventions, Concord Round Table, Fortnightly Club, Cornelian Club, and the first president of the local American Legion Auxiliary. She served for over 20 years on the Anamosa Public Library board and on the Cedar Rapids Community Concert board. Wilma was a 50-plus-year member of the Eastern Star. Music played a significant role in Wilma's life. She played organ and piano for the first Baptist Church in Anamosa for many years and played special music during the church's 150th anniversary celebration service. She played for worship and special events at the reformatory and accompanied high school students in contests. Wilma played for the Sunday and midweek services at the Meth-Wick Community in Cedar Rapids, where she lived for the last eleven years. Wilma enjoyed traveling the world with friends and relatives. A trip to the Holy Land highlighted her travels. She was a very special mother and woman of great faith. She supported Camp Courageous, the Dennis & Donna Ordorf Hospice House of Mercy and the American Cancer Society. She succumbed to cancer on Oct. 1, 2008. Surviving her, at the time of her death, were her children, James (Kathy) Remley of Cordova, Ill., Ellen Wetzel of Iowa City and Gregory (Martha) Remley of Overland Park, Kan.; Tucker (Erin) Remley and Sam (Megan) Remley; three greatgrandchildren; brother, Cecil Bolsinger, neice, Sondra Bolsinger; nephews, Bob and Dick Bolsinger; and sister-in-law, Lucille Sunleaf-Strawman.
