Mrs. Williams died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at approximately 5:30 a.m. at the Salt River Community Care in Shelbina. She was born October 3, 1909, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Roscoe H. and Anna C. Robertson McMaster. On November 25, 1943, she was united in marriage to Lawrence O. Williams at St. Louis. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1963. Wilma is survived by four nieces: Suanne Comfort (Charles) of Kansas City; Donna Myers (Jerry) of Shelbyville, Lynne Engberg (Richard) of Sterling, VA, and Anette Wright of Reston, VA; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Roberta McDaniel and Reve Wright; and one niece, Eileen McDaniel. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Shelbyville Christian Church and a 1927 graduate of Shelbyville High School. After graduation from high school, she attended Christian College in Columbia and later graduated from the University of Missouri in 1939. She taught music education in schools in Arizona and Missouri. She was a member of Casa Grande, Arizona Historical Society, the Casa Grande American Legion Auxiliary, Chapter M, PEO, and the Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Educational Organization. Wilma was the organist for thirty years at Casa Grande Christian Church in Arizona. Memorial may be made to the Salt River Community Care. Online condolences may be made to: greeningeaganhayes.com
