She grew up east of Minden and graduated from Minden High School in 1936. On Sept. 16, 1940, she married Theodore Klahn. They lived in Washington and California before moving to Minden in 1946. They farmed and lived east of Minden, moving into Minden in 1968. She was a member of First Christian Church where she was active in its ladies' groups. Survivors are her husband; two sons, Larry of Minden and Bernard of Salina, Kan.; one daughter, Kathleen Ayers of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Dorothy Haskell of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Shirley Norseen of Minden; one brother, Robert Jorgensen of Minden; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
