Wilma Evelyn Thompson was born on November 27, 1920, to Charles and Sophie Sazama in Osmond and died Thursday, February 27, 2014. She attended rural school at District 62 north of Osmond and received her diploma on June 1, 1934. On September 16, 1940 she was united in marriage to Harvey Thompson at Hartington and unto this union two daughters were born, Delores Christiansen and Florence Clingenpeel. She spent her life as a homemaker and she loved to embroider tea towels, paint pictures, and make quilts. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Plainview. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; her parents Charles and Sophie Sazama, son-in-law, Roland Christiansen, and brothers, Charles, Jr., Clarence and Lawrence and sister Emily. Wilma E Thompson is survived by her daughters, Delores Christiansen and Florence Clingenpeel; 7 grandchildren, Mike, Rodney, Roger, Donna, Steve, Bruce and Liz; 16 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; a brother Glen Sazama, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
