Description	:	Wilma (Bill) Jeanette Buchholz, of Ottumwa, and and her late husband Cecil’s uncle Ernest (Sapp) Buchholz were killed in a car accident on Highway 16, three-quarters of a mile east of Draper, South Dakota. Draper is about 35 miles southwest of Pierre, South Dakota. Mr. Buchholz, a retired farmer, was going to see his sister, Mrs. Minnie Peterson, of Philip, and also was expected to visit two brothers, Henry Buchholz of Hill City, S.D., and William Buchholz of Rapid City, S.D. The two had left Ottumwa Thursday, spending the night with Wilma’s daughter, Mrs. Sharon Russell, at State Center. Wilma was a resident of Ottumwa and Wapello County most of her life. She was a member of the Willard Street Methodist Church. She married Cecil B. Buchholz on October 16, 1926, in Bloomfield, Iowa. She was survived by three sons, Walter Buchholz of Ottumwa, Dean Buchholz of Standish, Mich., and Staff Sgt. Wayne Buchholz, with the Air Force in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Colleen Clements of Philip, S.D., and Mrs. Sharon Russell of State Center; 15 grandchildren; her father, Frank Cornell of Ottumwa; one sister, Mrs. Lois Summers of Ottumwa; and two brothers, Glen E. Cornell of Ottumwa and Lloyd Cornell of Fort Wayne, Ind. She was preceded in death by her mother and one sister, Frances Christy.
