Wilma Lee Koteck was born March 29, 1918, in Marshalltown, Iowa the daughter of Albert and Deana (Olson) Koteck. She graduated from Marshalltown High School and attended Jr. College. In July of 1942, she was united in marriage to Frank Allen. They were blessed with two children Sandra and Scott. While living in Ames, Frank and Wilma owned a dormitory housing 21 students. They lived in Mason City until the fall of 1970, and then moved to Charles City. Wilma?s hobbies included fishing, swimming, boating, traveling, and spending time with her family. She also had a love for new clothes and animals she really enjoyed her dogs and cats. She was a past member of the First Congregational Church, Mason City and a member of the First Congregational Church, Charles City. She is survived by her husband, Frank Allen, Charles City, children, Sandra (Tom) DeWilde, Clear Lake, Scott (Kathy) Allen, Des Moines, grandchildren, Tamara (Dan) Kroc, Libertyville, IL, Jason (Carolyn) DeWilde, Ankeny, five Great Grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.
