She was united in marriage to Everett Dean Bowman on September 15, 1963 in Shelbina, MO. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1983. ---She is also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Emery Gerrish; and one sister, Vernita Morse. ---Wilma is survived by her son, Mark Bowman (Cindy) of Shelbina, MO; four grandchildren, Melissa Ratliff (Josh) of Shelbina, MO, Samantha Howell (Travis) of Brookfield, MO, Zechariah Bowman (Kim) of Hallsville, MO and Jordan Bowman (Lacie) of Shelbina, MO; eleven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Maicyn, and Everett Ratliff, Riley, Colton, and Logan Howell, Aubrey, Cadence, and Isabella Bowman, and Addison and Sawyer Bowman; one sister, Cora Sue Moore (Dan) of Jacksonville, MO; a dear friend, Mary Lanpher of Clarence, MO, and many nieces and nephews. ---Wilma graduated from Shelbina High School in 1955. She became a licensed hairdresser and was a custodian for Clarence Christian Church for over 20 years. Wilma also worked for Clarence Care Center for many years. She was a member of the Clarence Christian Church and the Southernaires Club (also a past president). Her greatest accomplishment was being a grandma, and she excelled at that. Wilma enjoyed crocheting, working in the yard, traveling, bowling, and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all, Wilma loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ---Funeral services will be held at 10 am, on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Clarence Christian Church in Clarence, MO. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery following the service. A visitation will be held at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, MO on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 4 pm until 7 pm. Memorials may be made to the Helping Hand of Clarence and Clarence Christian Church.
