Mrs. Norman was a native of Elizabethton and the daughter of the late Fusson L. and Anna Lee Adams Nidiffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Herman Elwayne Norman, in 1969, a grandson, Sean Harrell, in 2004, and by four brothers and two sisters. Read More	Elizabethton Star Wednesday, August 17, 2005 Wilma Nidiffer Norman, 81, 3116 Cunningham Road, Knoxville, died Monday, August 15, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Knoxville. Mrs. Norman was a native of Elizabethton and the daughter of the late Fusson L. and Anna Lee Adams Nidiffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Herman Elwayne Norman, in 1969, a grandson, Sean Harrell, in 2004, and by four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Norman had lived in Knoxville for the past 40 years. She was an experienced seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and helping others and enjoyed her grandchildren most of all. She was a former member of East Side Baptist Church in Elizabethton and a member of Edgemoor Baptist Church in Clinton. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Herman T. Norman; three daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda Cooke, Johnson City, Loretta and Eddie Young, Knoxville, and Shanna Young, Atlanta, Ga.; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Ellen Nidiffer, Knoxville, and Jessie Smith, Johnson City. Three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Norman will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, August17, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Elmer Carter officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 18, in the Caldwell Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery.
