Description	:	OAKLAND - Wilmer C. Crosco, 84, of Hutton Road, Oakland, died Tuesday, July 4 at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland. Born Sept. 23, 1921, in Vindex, he was the son of the late Tony and Estella (Knox) Crosco. He was also preceded in death by one son, Allen Crosco. He was a graduate of Kitzmiller High School, Class of 1939. He was a former coal miner and was a former collection site attendant for the Garrett County Sanitation Department. "Bea" (Butcher) Crosco; two daughters, Jeannie Hanlin, Elk Garden, W.Va., and Judy Rice, Cumberland; two sisters, Flora Burton and Esther Holler, both of Oakland; two brothers, Larry Crosco and Russell Crosco, both of Oakland; his beloved friend, Gally; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, 32 S. Second St., Oakland, Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home, Saturday, July 8, 2006, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. T. Patrick Kerr officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Oakland. Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by members of various veterans' organizations in southern Garrett County.
