Description	:	MONROE, May 12. - Wallace W. Laney died Tuesday afternoon at 8 o'clock at his home near Mineral Springs, after a lingering illness. He was about sixty-nine years of age. He was a member of Mineral Springs Methodist church and was loyal in his support to the institution. He is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Gordon, three sons and six daughters. The daughters are Mrs. Walter Bailey, of Detroit; Mrs. Earl Weaver, of Timmonsville, S.C., Mrs. Ghekle of Spencer, Mrs. Bud Moser, of Mineral Springs, Mrs. Bascom Helms of Monroe, and Miss Virginia Laney, who lives near Mineral Springs. He is also survived by one brother, Washington Laney, of Pageland, S.C. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. D.C.
