Surviving are a son, Wendell Harold Gaston of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Larry Gene; brothers Winford, Wilford and Wayne; and a sister, Mary. Graveside services will be 11 a..m. Saturday at Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa with the Rev. Byron Newland officiating. Visitation will be open after 9 a.m. Saturday in Reece Funeral Home.
