Description	:	Winifred Eva Martin was born to Vincent and Eva Allen, on the family's farm near Osceola, Iowa, March 17, 1936 and passed away June 4, 1999 at the age of 63 years at the Corydon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was united in marriage to Richard M. Martin June 28, 1953 at the Baptist Church in Monroe, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Dennis Martin, Colleen Gwinn and Barbara Wright. She was united in marriage to Richard M. Martin June 28, 1953 at the Baptist Church in Monroe, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Dennis Martin, Colleen Gwinn and Barbara Wright. Winifred accepted Christ as her own personal saavior at an early age and lived her life for Him. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family, grandchildren and great-grandson, each one was very special to her. She first attended the Gospel Center Church, the Grace Baptist Church, and later various other churches. Upon her eighth grade graduation from a Lucas County country school, she became a nurse's aid. In later life, she employed by Lucas Products until retiring in 1986. She was preceded in death by parents Eva and Vincent Allen; brothers,sisters and baby sister, Paul Allen, Vivian Kilts and Denzil Allen; and brothers-in-law Robert Black and Bud Crooks. She leaves to mourn, Husband Richard M. Martin, children Dennis and Bev. Martin, Roger and Colleen Gwinn and Barbara Wright; grandchildren, Michael and Dawn Martin, David and Sarah Martin, Matthew Martin, Stephen Martin, Richard Gwinn, April Gwinn, Amy Wright, MMelissa Wright and Jennifer Wright, great-grandson Connor Martin: brothers and sisters, Arlene Black, Wayde and Othella Black,Georgia Crooks, Darwin and Elaine Hall, Joyce Allen Leland and Geneva Long and Paul and Juanita Moore. Funeral services were held June 7, 1999 at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton with interment in the Olive Chapel Cemetery at rural Knoxville.
