Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Geneva, with the Rev. Jerry Hoff officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in rural Ackley. Winola Margaret (Wagner) Prull was born on July 30, 1916, in Wentworth, Wis., the daughter of John and Ethel (LeValley) Wagner. She was united in marriage to Clifford William Prull on May 25, 1938, at the United Methodist Church in Ackley. She was a 1934 graduate of Geneva High School and graduated from Iowa State Normal School and Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls. Her early career included teaching in Iowa's rural one-room schools. Her past and present accomplishments included music composition and playing a wide variety of instruments including organ, piano, harp, violin, accordion and electronic keyboard; raising orchids, writing poetry, flower gardening, ceramics, and genealogy. She was church organist for more than 30 years and served as choir director and Sunday school teacher for many years at the Geneva United Methodist Church. She was United Methodist Women President three times and was one of the organizers of the Geneva Woman's Club. She had composed more than 20 songs. Those grateful for her life include three daughters, Sharon Abbas and her husband, Lyle, of Clear Lake, Gloria Burkle and her husband, Stan, of Nashua, and Aleyna Davisson and her husband, Larry, of DeSoto; a son, Dale Prull and his friend, Janice Owen, of San Jose, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, Kevin (Amy) Burkle, of Crystal Lake, Ill., Kimbra (Kevin) Smyth, of San Jose, Calif., Todd (Patty) Burkle, of Monona, Cindy (Daryl) Hall, of Cedar Falls, Mark (Tami) Abbas, of Woodstock, Ga., Doug (Sara) Abbas, of Clear Lake, Matthew (Vanessa) Prull, of Walla Walla, Wash., Erik Davisson, of Austin, Texas, Alicia Burkle, of Chicago, Ill., Staci (David) Kraemer, of Little Falls, Minn., and Carla (Jeff) Betz, of San Jose, Calif., 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Wagner, of Duluth, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford, in 1991; and two brothers, Ted and John Wagner.
