He was born in Tiverton, Digby Co. He was the son of the late Sylvanus and Grace (Young) Outhouse. Winston had a 22 year career in the Royal Canadian Air Force, including one year with NATO, and a 26 year career at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. He was born in Tiverton, Digby Co. He was the son of the late Sylvanus and Grace (Young) Outhouse. Winston had a 22 year career in the Royal Canadian Air Force, including one year with NATO, and a 26 year career at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. He was a longtime member of St. John the Divine Anglican Church where he recently received the Geary Award. Winston also received the Volunteer Recognition Award from the Governor General of Canada. Left to mourn are his wife of 59 years, Vivian (Moore); daughters, Lois Oliver (David), Toronto, Ont.; Barbara St. Clair (Ken Kumamoto), Japan; sons, Leonard St. Clair (Maureen), Ottawa, Ont., and James St. Clair (Maria), Cold Lake, Alta; grandchildren, Christopher Oliver-Yamauchi (Makiko), Geoffrey and Shu Ling St. Clair, and Anna Kumamoto; sister, Lawna Stewart, Tiverton. A memorial service will be held on January 28, at 11 a.m. in St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Arva. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Tiverton, at a later date.∼Retired RCAF and Faculty at UWO School of Business Administration.
