Born Dec 1, 1921, at Macksville, he was the son of Wayne and Anna (Howard) Williams. He graduated from Macksville High School in 1941 and served in the Army during World War II. Williams... Read More	Obituary Winston Williams Winfield Courier 9-7-1990 Winston H "Tiny" Williams, 68, of Route 3, died Sept 6 at William Newton Memorial Hospital. Born Dec 1, 1921, at Macksville, he was the son of Wayne and Anna (Howard) Williams. He graduated from Macksville High School in 1941 and served in the Army during World War II. On May 16, 1943, he married Lois Muir in Great Bend. A retired auto mechanic, he lived in Winfield area the past three years, moving here from Coldwater. He was a school bus driver for USD 465. Williams was a member of Masonic Lodge AF & AM 295 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Coldwater. Survivors include his wife, of the home, three daughters, Linda Bowman of Guymon, OK, Christie Muret of Winfield, and Julie Miller of Cassody; a brother, Royce Williams of Douglas, Wy; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 am Saturday in Swisher-Taylor and Morris Chapel, with private interment in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 o'clock in the evening. A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
