Description	:	Winton S. McCulloh, 81, DeWitt, Iowa, died Friday afternoon November 17, 2006 at Westwing Place, DeWitt. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday November 20, 2006 at the United Methodist Church, Low Moor, Iowa. Pastor Christine Minor-Heilig and Rev. Doresa Collogan presiding. Pallbearers will be Tim McCulloh, Ryan McCulloh, Christopher McCulloh, Joshua Schuler, Tom McCulloh, Matt McCulloh and Stuart McCulloh. Burial will be in the Prairie Union Cemetery. Winton Scott McCulloh was born June 14, 1925, in Clinton County, Iowa, to Winne and Rosalie (Helble) McCulloh. He went to country school through 8th grade, 9th grade in Elvira and graduated from DeWitt High School in 1943. Winton married Cleone Olson June 28, 1950 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, rural Calamus. His activities and interests included Low Moor Lions, Low Moor Methodist Church of which he was a lifetime member, Clinton County 4-H Club Leader, Eden Township Trustee, Prairie Union Cemetery Board, Clinton County and Iowa Cattlemen and Clinton County Pork Producers. His proudest accomplishments were his marriage to Cleone for 56 years, father of 6 children and their spouses and grandfather to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandson. Winton’s lifelong passion for farming was evident as he planted his final field of corn on the family’s 150 year old farm on April 28, 2006. The next day he was hospitalized and continued to decline in health. Winton was the proud husband of Cleone; proud father of Jim and Julie McCulloh, Waukee, Iowa, Reed and Kate McCulloh, North Liberty, Iowa, Nancy and David Schuler, Muscatine, Iowa, Brian and Lori McCulloh, Viroqua, Wisconsin, Murl and Tracey McCulloh, Camanche, Iowa, DeAnne and Brent Bloomberg, Orion, Illinois; dear grandfather of, Abbie (Jim) Pietruszynski, Grayslake, Illinois, Katie (Mike) Abbott, Urbandale, Iowa, Tim McCulloh and fiance,’ Jessica Mack, West Des Moines, Iowa, Tom McCulloh, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Joshua Schuler and Jennie Schuler, Ames, Iowa, Ryan McCulloh and Matt McCulloh, Madison, Wisconsin, Allison McCulloh, Ames, Christopher McCulloh, Rushville, Illinois, Rachel McCulloh and Hannah McCulloh, Ames, Karin McCulloh and Stuart McCulloh, Camanche, a great-grandson Leo Pietruszynski, Grayslake, Illinois; Winton’s brothers, Robert, Camanche, and Glenn (LaVonne), DeWitt.
