Duncan was a retired laborer. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Charley and Elizabeth Norman Duncan. He is survived by five daughters, Anne Knoblauch of New Orleans, La., Betty Moore of Coraopolis, Pa., Liz Duncan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mildred "Millie" Gonzales of Arabi, La., and Kay Geach of Mableton, Ga.; two sons, Charles "Chuck" Duncan of Houston, Texas and George Duncan of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Okey Duncan of North Carolina and Moter Ray McCune of Oak Hill; three sisters, Annie Keaton of Orma, Ida Siers of Grantsville and Lida Bailey of Minnora; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by one sister, Myrtle McCune; two brothers, Boyd Duncan and Joe Bailey; and three infant brothers and sisters. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Sinnett-Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with burial in Wolf Run Cemetery, near Orma. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today. Note: He was also preceded in death by his wife Callie Marie Sampson Duncan.
