She was born Aug: 25, 1901 at McDowell, a daughter of Norman S. and Chloe Wooddell Armstrong. Her husband, Felix Henry Ralston, died Dec. 18, 1932. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, a charter member and held offices in the Staunton VFW post 2216 Auxiliary and was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. Her husband, Felix Henry Ralston, died Dec. 18, 1932. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, a charter member and held offices in the Staunton VFW post 2216 Auxiliary and was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Simmons of Naoma, W.Va.; two sons, Earl E. Ralston of Woodridge, ILL. and Clyde A. Ralston of Carrollton, TX; a sister, Mrs. Marian A. McCray of Millboro; 10 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. A service was conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by the Rev. Woodward D. Morris, Jr., with burial in the McKendree Cemetery near McDowell. Obituary for Felix Ralston Felix H. Ralston died Sunday night December 18th after a few days sickness of pneumonia. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs Conrad Ralston, who survive him, also one brother, Gilbert of Princeton, W.Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Paris Hicklin and Mrs. Grace Hammer. His wife, who was Miss Wreathie Armstrong and four children Earle, Lucille, Corinne and Wilma mourn the loss of a loving and devoted father and husband. The members of the American Legion ware present at the funeral services, held at the Methodist church of which he was a member.
