Description	:	Mrs. Wubke Margaret Dirks, the wife of H.M. Dirks, died at her home in Monticello, last Saturday afternoon, after an illness of a little more than a week. Mrs. Dirks sustained a stroke of paralysis on the 27th of May, which was the cause of death. Mrs. Dirks' maiden name was Eden. She was born at Marx, Germany, September 18, 1841. She was married September 11, 1863, to Bernhard Gerhard Hahmankamp, who died February 24, 1894, in Germany. The widow came to America in May 1896 and after a year and a half's residence returned to Germany. ... Read More	Mrs. Wubke Margaret Dirks, the wife of H.M. Mrs. Dirks sustained a stroke of paralysis on the 27th of May, which was the cause of death. Mrs. Dirks' maiden name was Eden. She was born at Marx, Germany, September 18, 1841. She came again to this country, March 27, 1905, and on the 15 day of May 1906, was married to Mr. Dirks. Her acquaintances speak kindly of her, and the esteem with which she was regarded was shown in the very large attendance at her funeral. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wm. L. Schuetz. Mrs. Dirks had no children. She is survived by her husband, and one brother, John Eden.
