Description	:	Wynona Shelley, 79, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Wynona was born in Baker Township in Guthrie County, Iowa on June 21, 1930. She attended a one-room school house and later graduated from Panora High School in 1948. Wynona married Dale Shelley at the Bagley Methodist Church on August 15, 1948. To this union five children were born, Ronald, Allen, Ellen, Dennis and Vickie. They moved to Dallas Center in 1957. She enjoyed bird watching and baking, but her passion was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wynona is survived by her husband, Dale; her children, Ronald (Marlene) Shelley of Grimes, Dennis (Linda) Shelley of Redfield, and Vickie (Gary) Ogren of Ankeny; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Myrtle Anderson, her children, Allen and Ellen, and her brother, Galen.
