Description	:	WATERVILLE -- Yvette Marie Lapierre Michaud, 93, passed away at Mount Saint Joseph on June 6, 2013. She was born in Waterville at Head of Falls on March 7, 1920, to Matilda (Albert) and Alonzo LaPierre. She spent her early life growing up by the Two Cent Bridge with siblings Roland and Theresa in a neighborhood she loved dearly, now long gone and deeply missed by all who experienced it. She married the love of her life, Aurele J. Michaud, and moved to 28 Green St. (later 28 1/2) where they raised four children, Robert, Richard, Jean Ann and Dana. She remained... Read More	WATERVILLE -- Yvette Marie Lapierre Michaud, 93, passed away at Mount Saint Joseph on June 6, 2013. She was born in Waterville at Head of Falls on March 7, 1920, to Matilda (Albert) and Alonzo LaPierre. She spent her early life growing up by the Two Cent Bridge with siblings Roland and Theresa in a neighborhood she loved dearly, now long gone and deeply missed by all who experienced it. She married the love of her life, Aurele J. Michaud, and moved to 28 Green St. (later 28 1/2) where they raised four children, Robert, Richard, Jean Ann and Dana. She remained a homemaker while Aurele worked at Maine Central Railroad as a welder until 1969 when she began working at Howard Johnson as a chambermaid, retiring from there at 65. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales/Notre Dame parishes and also a longtime member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was predeceased by her parents, Matilda and Alonzo; husband Aurele; brother Roland; a daughter-in-law, Janis; and a litany of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends she had lost over the years of her 93-year existence. She loved them dearly. She is survived by her sister, Theresa, and husband Reny Poulin, and their family; her four children, Robert, Richard and wife Eva, Jean Ann and husband Rodney Cormier, and Dana; also her grandchildren, Pat, Pam, Paul, Danny, Shawn, Scott, Robbie and their spouses; along with six great-grandchildren and a list of relatives too numerous and ongoing. Final interment will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, where mom's journey through life ends. Rest in peace, there is no longer pain and sorrow. (Morning Sentinel 6/8/2013 & Gallant FH)
