She is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Jack Burleson. Yvonne is survived by her siblings Tony Holcomb (Susan) of Jacksonville FL, Mike Holcomb (Lisa) of Flower Mound TX, and Susan Sermons (Mike) of Jacksonville FL. Yvonne is also survived by her nieces and nephews Nikki, Sean, Michael, Michelle, Jennifer, Billy, Toby, and Samantha. She is survived by her grandchildren Clay, Nic, Chad, Luke, Jennifer, Sean, Marissa, and Matthew. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Taylor, Anthony, Hank, Jacob, Emma, and Sadie. She is also preceded in death by her parents Sam and Ruby Holcomb, nephew Jonathan Holcomb, and her great-grandson Eric. Yvonne was born on October 30, 1947, in Ocilla, GA. She graduated from Paxon High School in 1965. Yvonne graduated from Massey Business College and studied at Florida Junior College. Yvonne retired as a Human Resource Specialist from Jacksonville NAS after 37 years of government service. Yvonne’s family remembers her for her incredible love of her family and friends and her keen sense of humor. She was a devoted daughter, wife, stepmother, Nanny, aunt, and friend. If we could bring you back again, We’d say we treasured you, And that your presence in our lives Meant more than we ever knew. If we could bring you back again, To tell you what we should, You’d know how much we miss you now, And if we could, we would. Visitation is scheduled at 12 pm March 16 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park FL with funeral services at 1 pm. There will be a graveside service following the funeral service at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
