Read More	Yvonne Valaree Eidness, age 77, of Lake Mills, Iowa, formerly of Osage, Iowa, died on Monday, May 19, 2008, at the Lake Mills Care Center in Lake Mills, Iowa. The former Yvonne Parent was born on December 7, 1930, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Lionel Parent and Margaret (Lehrke) Parent. She grew up in and graduated from the Central High School, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. On May 3, 1952, she was united in marriage to Duane Eidness at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage. Duane passed away in 2002. Yvonne worked as a bookkeeper for Arts Shoes in Osage for several years. After moving to Lake Mills, she worked as a cook at the Lake Mills Care Center. Yvonne loved her family dearly. Her life revolved around her grandchildren. She had spent several years as the caregiver for her granddaughter, Shana in Chicago, Illinois. She was an awesome and resourceful cook. Yvonne Eidness was survived by her children, Steve (Judy) Eidness of Lake Mills, Kimberly Johnson of Osage, Denise Beaudoin of Evanston, Illinois and David (Judy) Eidness of Lake Mills; eleven grandchildren, Josh, Lacie and Jenna Eidness, Valerie Marker, Elizabeth Johnson, Danielle Lemmerman, Clint Johnson, Shana Beaudoin, Stephanie, Courtney and Katlyn Eidness; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Monte Parent of Louisville, Kentucky, Ronald (Phyllis) Parent of Holmen, Wisconsin and James (Mary) Hetzel of La Crosse, Wisconsin; two sisters, Beverly (Bob) Erickson of Cashton, Wisconsin and Gloria Knoke of La Crosse, Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Lois Parent of Stevenson, Michigan; brothers-in-law, John Jostad of Galesville, Wisconsin and Harvey Jostad of Holmen, Wisconsin; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duane; sisters, Annette Jostad and Carol Jostad; brother, Lionel "Bud" Parent; great-grandson, T.J. Marker; and step-father, Gerald Hetzel.
