She was the daughter of the late Isaac and Sarah Margaret Powell Dennis of Pittsville and was the wife of Granville Washington Banks of Salisbury. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anna Parsons (Marion) of Salisbury and Mrs. Frances Hearne (William) of Berlin; three sons, Harrison, Guy and William Banks of Salisbury; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hearne (Guy) of Laurel; Mrs. Maggie Collins (Oscar) of Powellville; and Mrs. Myra Baker (Lee) of Washington; and a brother, William H.
