Read More	SOURCE: Greenville News, Page 6 DATE: Wednesday, June 245, 1947 ZEB VANCE YOUNG TIGERVILLE, June 24, -- Zeb Vance Young, 68, farmer of Tigerville section in upper Greenville County, died at his home today at 5:15 a.m. following three months of declining health. He was born and reared in Fairview, N.C., being a son of the late Thomas Young and Martha Elizabeth Cooper Young. He had made his home in Tigerville for the past 12 years. He was first married to Miss Nora Nix, who died about 24 years ago. His second marriage was to Miss Elsie Southern, surviving. Surviving from the first marriage are six sons, Mark and Joe T. Young, both of Tigerville, Alvin and Mack Young, Pega Amboy, N.J., Paul Young, Travelers Rest, Route 3, and J.B. Young, Balfour, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Lanning, Baltimore, N.C., Mrs. Harriett Lance, Balfour, N.C., and Mrs. Matilda Traynham, Fletcher, N.C. Funeral services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Tyger Baptist Church conducted by Rev. L.R. Duncan. Interment will be in the Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Meriem, Joe Reddin, Vardry McKinney, W.A. Johnson, Dillard Heath and Carroll Robertson.
