Mrs. Drake was born Jan. 7, 1947 in Omaha to Zera and Alice (Williams) Sell. She started her school years at Riverview Country School and graduated from Arcadia High School. Following her schooling, she worked at Becton Dickinson in Broken Bow. In 1969 she married Alan Drake in Ord. The couple spent most of their married life in the Comstock area. She was known for her cooking at Z's Place and many other restaurants in the area. Mrs. Drake was a member of the Westcott Baptist Church. She was involved in her community and church and taught Bible School there and also taught music in Elyria for the last year. She loved music, knitting and her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Tracy Drake and Kevin and Sheryl Drake, all of Comstock; eight grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Carolyn Sell of Arcadia; a sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Larry Cusimano of Grandview, MO; two half brothers, Norman Sell of Denton and Marlin Sell of Ansley; a half sister, Floss Guggenmos of Sioux City, IA.
