Description	:	WESTGATE -- Zenita Bertha Arthur, 98, of Fayette, formerly of Randalia and Westgate, died Thursday, Jan. 15, at Maple Crest Manor, Fayette. She was born March 29, 1916, in Oran Township of Fayette County, daughter of Arthur and Bertha Jipson McLaury. On June 15, 1939, she married Lyle W. Arthur at the Presbyterian Church, Oelwein; he died in 1994. Zenita graduated from Oelwein High School, Oelwein; received a teaching certificate from Upper Iowa University, Fayette, and taught for a year at Rowley. Read More	WESTGATE -- Zenita Bertha Arthur, 98, of Fayette, formerly of Randalia and Westgate, died Thursday, Jan. 15, at Maple Crest Manor, Fayette. She was born March 29, 1916, in Oran Township of Fayette County, daughter of Arthur and Bertha Jipson McLaury. On June 15, 1939, she married Lyle W. Arthur at the Presbyterian Church, Oelwein; he died in 1994. Zenita graduated from Oelwein High School, Oelwein; received a teaching certificate from Upper Iowa University, Fayette, and taught for a year at Rowley. She and her husband farmed in the Fayette, Randalia and Sumner areas until retiring. She was a member of Randalia United Methodist Church and currently belonged to Union United Methodist Church, rural Sumner. Survived by: four sons, Steve (Sandi) of Sumner, Mark (Nancy) of Harpers Ferry, Clark (Mary Smith) of Columbia, Mo., and Richard (Joan) of Nora Springs; a daughter-in-law, DiAnna Arthur of Tripoli; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Delpha Andrusyk of Tucson, Ariz.; and a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Sherwood of Percival. Preceded in death by: a son, Lonny; her parents; three brothers, Lester, Harry and Vincent; and two sisters, Imogene and Zaida. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Union United Methodist Church, rural Sumner, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home, Sumner, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
