Brooks and family of Sioux City Beach and around the lakes will be grieved to learn that their daughter, Miss Zeta L. Brooks, passed away at the home of her parents at Auburn, Iowa, on February 25th. Miss Brooks has been in poor health for the past year and three weeks before her death, was very serious. Miss Brooks was born and reared to young womanhood at Auburn, Iowa. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Eastern Star, the White Shrine, the Rebecca lodge, the Royal Neighbors and the American Legion Auxilliary at that place. She was born on August 11, 1893, and her untimely death is deeply regretted by all who knew her, as she had won the unstinted love and esteem of all with whom she came in contact. She spent the summer of 1921 at Sioux City Beach with her parents and made many friends. Published in the Spirit Lake Beacon, 30 March 1922
