A native of Madison, N.C., she was the daughter of the late William Anderson Groomes and Laura Gentry Groomes Earley. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is one sister, Esteline Earley of Spartanburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the home at 253 Arch St. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev.
