Description	:	Mrs. Zimmie Marie "Pinky" Bolen Kirby, 58, of 1203 Cannon Bridge Road, Cordova, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Cannon Bridge Road Church of God in Cordova with the Revs. Olin Martin, Marion Shaw, Chris Johnson and Wallace King officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg. Mrs. Kirby was born Sept. 1, 1947, in Orangeburg, the daughter of the late Zim Reid Bolen and the late Ruth Haynes Bolen Williams. She was a loving wife, mother and friend to those who knew her including her family at South Carolina Oncology Association. She was very devoted to her church and community or anyone in need. A member of Cannon Bridge Road Church of God, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Olin Williams. Survivors include her husband, George L. Kirby of Cordova; two daughters, Donna (John) Irick of Orangeburg and Karen Kirby of Cordova; grandchildren, Kirby Ash'Le Kirby of Cordova, Emily Marie Irick of Orangeburg and Wyatt Reid Kirby of Cordova; her loving pet, Charlie; one sister, Billie Ruth Griffith of Cordova; and one brother, David Williams of Rowesville.
