Description	:	The Daily Huronite October 7, 1892 Page 4 The funeral services of the late Zimri Pond which took place Thursday afternoon from the Congregational church, were largely attended. Rev. J. Kimball offered the opening prayer. Rev. B.H. Burtt conducted the services and delivered an impressive sermon - one especially appropriate and full of consolation and cheer for the aged companion of the deceased and their children. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful and included a cross, an anchor, a sickle and a pillow - tributes from neighbors and friends, some were from children whose hearts will ever cherish happy... A select choir, composed of Messrs. Hurd and Barnford, Mrs. Keyes and Miss Knudson, with Miss Abell as organist, furnished the music. The pall-bearers were W.B. Joy, M.J. Jarvis, R.M. Keyes, J. Coshun, Jacob Cogswell and D.R. Raymond. Interment in Riverside. To the many friends whose assistance and sympathies were so generous, the wife and children of the deceased extend their sincere thanks.
