On the west side of Missouri Highway 123, south of the bridge over Barren Creek. "It was stated that during his final illness, William J. Akard requested that his wife, Cynthia (Appleby) Akard, bury him in the front yard of the farm where they lived because he did not like the located of the Akard Cemetery (in Fair Play).
