Description	:	This cemetery is one of the oldest in Grayson county. It lies just north of Highway 697. Approximatly, 2 miles north of old Kentucky Town. Originally, the Pitman's Chapel, a Methodist Church, and the Batsell School stood nearby. This property lies at the junction of Spring Branch and Camp Branch of Mill Creek. The creek is where a church camp would often take place and baptisms often held. It was named for Michael Pitman (he gave the land to the church and cemetery).
