Description	:	The land was originally owned by the Stout family, who arrived in 1836. Purportedly the site has the distintion of hosting the largest gathering in Sangamon County, hosted by the Stouts with over 1,200 guests. Later, it was the site of the former Predestinarian Baptist Church, which was removed in 1946. The cemetery in located behind the house of the current occupant, Ted Chase, who does an excellent job in maintaining the cemetery.
