Description	:	On October 2, 1881 - State Representative Benjamin F. Caldwell and his wife Julia (Cloyd) conveyed approx. 1.5 acres of land for burial purposes only to Trustees of the Cloyd Graveyard (Benjamin F. Caldwell, William H. Moore and Thomas C. Cloyd.). This deed was recorded March 3rd 1882 in Book 72 Page 368 of the Sangamon County Recorder's Office. The land consisted of parcels in and near the intersection of the S. line S.E. 1/4 section 25, T15N, R6W and S. line S.W. 1/4 section 30, T15N, R5W. Sadly this was not done until after 2001 when it was discovered that approx 1 acre of the land had been utilized for a highway expansion project.
