Description : Mortuary chapel of the Biddle family. The structure is commonly referred to as "The Grotto" a Gothic "Ruin" designed and built in the mid-1830's . The building was used originally as a retreat for the hot summer months. It was latter repurposed as a memorial to the Craig and Biddle families, and a crypt was built to contain remains of several members of the family.
