Description	:	On 2 Dec 1823, Henry Cave entered the land that came to be his home. It lies in the NW 1/4 of Sec 6, Twp 48, Rge 12 of Boone county MO. He had come to Missouri with siblings Richard, William & Rebecca who had married Turner Richardson Haden, & with a cousin, Reuben Cave. Upon Henry Cave's land this family established its burying ground. The farm was on old Blackfoot Road just northeast of Columbia. It lies in the NW 1/4 of Sec 6, Twp 48, Rge 12 of Boone county MO. He had come to Missouri with siblings Richard, William & Rebecca who had married Turner Richardson Haden, & with a cousin, Reuben Cave. Upon Henry Cave's land this family established its burying ground. The farm was on old Blackfoot Road just northeast of Columbia. In 1936 the city acquired the land which was by then near the end of Brown Station Rd. at US Hwy 40. It is now a contractor's open lot. Only three stones were identifiable but they are not now in place. Family records have been used to establish these memorials. The photograph approximates what this land looked like in the early 1800s.
