Description : Located in dense woods the earliest known stone is from 1864. Cemetery is very overgrown and covered with brambles. Many graves are marked with the remains of funeral home markers. Last known burial 1942. Located across the street from the Lincroft First Aid Squad and Rescue Squad. There is an entrance with stairs on Hurley Lane. There is also access from the rear parking lot of Saint Leo the Great. This is a two acre African American cemetery that was started in 1850 by fourteen Black men. The cemetery contains military veterans dating back to the Civil War. It was revitalized in 2015.
