Description	:	In 1994, the drought had caused the water level in the Copeton Dam, near Inverell NSW, to fall to such an extent that the long submerged sites of the small towns of Copeton and Dasey Town and their cemeteries reappeared. Many of the original headstones have disappeared and others were removed by family members before the cemetery was flooded but those that remained have withstood their watery environment and are still clearly legible.
