Description	:	The Dean Family Cemetery is located on the old Wilson Ranch in the Salt Spring Valley area. From Milton turn right and take the northerly road around Salt Springs Reservoir. The grave yard is on the left about a mile and a half before the San Andreas/Felix road junction. It is on private land in a field. At one time there was a wrought iron fence around the cemetery but it is gone. Many of the graves had wood markers that are no longer there. Families in the cemetery are mostly Wilson, Dean and Hizer. In 1902 when Augustus Shriver was buried there, the obit said he was buried in the Wilson Burial Ground; that is because two Wilson daughters are buried there and the land once belonged to their father.
