Description | : | Built by James, 2nd Earl Fife in 1793 near the burial site of a former Carmelite Monastery, it stands in Wrack Wood above the River Deveron within the grounds of Duff House. Twenty one members of the Duff family are interred although the identity of one is unknown. Previously there had been a tomb on the west wall of the mausoleum. This had been removed from Cullen Kirk and was of the Earl‟s ancestor, Andrew Duff of Muldavit. In the 1950's this tomb was returned to Cullen Kirk. |
